Good facilities but nit really organized.
Needs to work more on time management criterion.
It has great library and awesome facilities.
People are really friendly.
Not good social events for postgrad students.
Small snd boring city.
A good place for studying with a friendly environment and beautiful sights, I love CCCU and highly recommend
I wanted to share my personal experience with CCCU, and why I think it would be better to look into other universities. While attending CCCU, I experienced a lot of financial hardship due to the poor administration of the institution. When I reached out to the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences for assistance, I was met with ridicule from some members of the staff. This demonstrated to me that the university's focus on student well-being was not taken seriously. The experience has caused me immense distress and I am struggling to sleep at night. Despite my attempts to seek help, I was told that the staff was extremely busy and could not assist me. It is my personal recommendation that prospective students should stay away from CCCU and consider other universities in the UK that prioritize their students' well-being.
Love studying here. Close to home. Touch down staff are amazing and so nice. I can have my breakfast, lunch without worrying. I can work for hours here especially at "Laud". I didnt like the new building so much. security is also great for late hours. It does close before 8 pm and its better if you let them know you are still there ❤️❤️❤️
I've started my Level 4 Creative music production and Technology course and I don't have to worry about English or Maths retakes.
The School of Engineering is not fit for purpose, my tutors barely know their subject, support staff don't know how to use any of the equipment. When I complained I was informed that management were dealing with a series of challenges, what? really??
Have you noticed the multi star reviews for CCCU by 'Local Guides', they have nothing to do with the University? Don't be fooled.
Finished my course in January, and I was told I'd have my final marks ratified and graded by March, then April, then May. I've chased them each month (since February as i was the only one on the course) and I've heard nothing from the University themselves. My course is through another intuition, who have emailed me back and have escalated it, but they can't do anything as it's now upto the University. Told it was an IT error, and the final grades are definitely 'there'. However, these are not viewable on My Record, no certificates, no emails, no phone call, nothing. It's me who has had to do all the chasing, incase I've been forgotten about.
I've now put in an official complaint through their website (12 th of July), and guess what, I've still not heard anything, absolutely no acknowledgement from the University. I've paid privately to do my course, which is just that bit more infuriating. I'm interested to see if I publicly air the complaint, if I'll hear back from them.
Hi. What i can say about this University...i think they not treat the same way all students, i feel like i was discriminated when i was to have my admission. The person who was in charge with my documents,mr (Han) treated me differently..he put me in a room alone to learn something what he want and keep saying "tell me more about your course" despite he was not my examiner and no one from there doing this to other students. I feel like he want to intimidating me and loose control ever me.. bad experience
